Mitch Norton signs with Crocs
I think it is much better to go to college in the U.S. That way you have more chance of going further with your basketball. Anyway he's a great player should do well wherever he is.
DJ Rod or anyone confirm or know roughly what he is on per year?
Obviously not going to judge him. Just really interested in knowing what players like Norton, Creek and Cadee get dollars-wise coming straight out of the AIS?
Adrian Majstrovich of the Adelaide 36ers has signed to play with the Wellington Saints for the 2007 NZ NBL season.
Majstrovich was born in NZ, but represented Australia in a FIBA event and is now ineligible to play for the Tall Blacks. He does, however, have a lifetime exemption to play in NZ as a non-restricted player.
The Saints will be coached by 36ers second assistant Kevin Brooks, and the team is also hopeful of getting Nick Horvath's signature for the Australian off-season.
After the 36ers game in NZ this Thursday, Brooks will remain in the country to hold final trials and a training camp for the Saints.
