NBL Rosters so far

Ok, you'd think Jackson will be 11th man then, or their backcourt will be looking a little thin.

Gruber is definitely signed? Thought he was a FA end of last season and haven't seen a report on him resigning yet.

Hi Skip, something isn't quite right with the Hawks roster as you have 9 players listed, they just signed big man Joevan Catron and the Mercury article also says they intend to sign a PG still.

So at least one of the guys you have listed on that roster is actually not signed. Haven't been able to work out who yet but my guess would be Gruber, since he and Catron look like similar sized players.

I can't resist throwing a quick roster summary in so here we go:

Wildcats and Tigers looking good, though the Cats need Redhage to be fully recovered.

Penney is a BIG loss for the Breakers, but they will be thereabouts, expecially if Webster steps up at SG as I suspect he can.

Taipans have a nice frontcourt again, but will depend heavily on good imports in their backcourt to do as well as last season.

Blaze are the opposite, great backcourt and four gun starters, but zero size in the frontcourt once again.

Crocs looking solid again, but will only go as far as their imports can take them.

Hawks still solid, but will need another Gary Ervin to challenge at the top again and that seems unlikely (unless Mills signs with them!)

Kings look weak and small in the backcourt (weird combo of signings there) but they might get away with it because of their frontcourt. Khazzouh is far and away the best big man in the league IMO and I think Bose could surprise. The real key will be import Jerai Grant though. Draft Express talks up his defensive ability and he blocked 2.3 shots his senior year. If he can be the defensive foil for Khazzouh then the Kings will be pretty tough in the paint.

Sixers have improved their talent level and roster balance, but how much will depend on their imports and the development of DJ. Its up to Marty now to show he can get a high level of performance out of his players. Also, I can't believe Ben Knight is still on that FA list. Snap him up Marty!

I'll keep an eye on NEVILL, Luke

Supposedly, Lindsay Tait has signed with the Breakers..
He is missing on the list above ^^

Channel 10 said that Farley WILL play for the Sixers for the rest of this season atleast and will be back from injury in 2 weeks.

In other news, Wheeler is fine and should play the next Sixers game.

Not what I asked, but yea, I agree mostly.
