Ten Greatest Teams in NBL History
85 bullets.07 bullets.90 wild cats.03-05 kings.87 bullets.93-97.05-06.08 tigers.thats my pick so far..
#1 has to be '86. It is the only team that would make sense, and no one in their right mind would leave the invincibles out of their top 10.
That means the 98/99 team misses out. That was a damn good team, but was a massive underdog to the incredibly good SE Melbourne that year. I think I would have snuck that team into the top 10 somewhere just because of the excitement of that incredible demolition of the previously untouchable Magic on their home court, but I guess I am biased.
Two more to go and no mention of any Sixer championships. I'm biased but surely the 86 team will fill one of the two final spots.
So far we have two Sydney championships and two Perth championships. Add to this Brisbane's first, and St Kilda from the early 80's, South East Melbourne and a Tiger's championship.
