Kobe Bryant's wife files for divorce.
Actually anonymous, I'm not arguing against my own argument. The argument I referred to as pointless was ours. My previous views and comments still stand.
Bo, long article but really interesting read!

Such a pointless argument. At the end of the day, when a famous sportsman/woman divorces the money split is always going to be a topic of discussion. When Carlos Boozer divorced, the article showed the money, same with Dwyane Wade. No matter how you feel about it the money is always going to be discussed when famous people divorce. It's just the way it is.

Anon 387,
you'd have to be female wouldn't you? I have absolutely nothing against her decision to divorce, she's probably put up with more than her fair share. She is obviously going to get alot of money from the divorce and I'd hate to think how much that would be?
nothing against her, just will be interesting.

Signing news out of WA - the Perth Wildcats have nabbed Alex Loughton for a couple of years and retained Adam Caporn.
Loughton is a steady young power forward out of college with some European-league experience and has been named to a few extended Boomers sides in recent years. Should be a good pick-up for them.
Caporn had his 2006/07 season marred by injury but can start at PG if necessary and is just four points under the NBL's rating system.
The Cats are also rumoured to be signing Damien Ryan shortly which would be another excellent signing. The guy might not have an impeccable character record, but he can play and they've obviously spent up to keep him from pursuing options in Europe.
Perth already have Shawn Redhage, Paul Rogers and Peter Crawford of note, plus a spare import spot. Jeff Dowdell is a gradual improver, but not all are convinced on the other benchies - Justin Brown and Ben Hunt. Loughton, at least, goes some way to covering the loss of Tony Ronaldson.
