Because Big Marty an Allstar game is not going to just attract the fan bases of the two clubs playing but the entire fan base of the league as well as people who aren't necessarily Bball fans due to the having all the NBL's star players on court at once creating a decent spectacle.
What would make you think that the viewership for a televised AllStar game would be successful. When nation-wide viewership starts to average in the 100,000's for games, then you can start thinking about AllStar games.
prob haven't been able to justify it with clubs disappearing and financial situations etc but would make for some pretty entertaining delayed viewing for you guys in Oz.
Dunk Comp would be great with some awesome athletes in the league this season. Creek, Abercrombie, Walker, Grant, Jackson, Dorsey
Warren, Corletto, Lisch, Ng, Bruce, Gibson, Harvey, Foreman, Bruton would make for a decent 3point shootout
