POSSIBLE VACANCY

After this season I will be looking for someone to takeover as League Commish for one of the Leagues (Probably whichever one I'm not in)

Unfortunetly the last couple of months I am finding it hard to keep up and make time to do both Leagues.

I am still investigating the possibility of some sort of fantasy software which would then make it easier and quicker (In which case I would keep doing both and probably add a 3rd league) If anyone has ever seen a program that could be adapted to NBL, please let me know.

In the meantime, If you have any interest at all in being Commish, let me know.

After he bid, I confrimed that unless Pure Silk bid as well, Ox would win him.

Ox - I would allow you to change it to another player.

We had an issue once (not this year) with someone withdrawing their bid at 8:59am and then taking the player as unrestricted. So that is the main reason behind the rule.

Once a bid is made, It can not be withdrawn."

So is it that a bid cannot be withdrawn,or that they can withdraw it for another player?

Isaac - I will have to refer you to the Round 7 thread, in which it was made clear that signings made before 9am Tuesday would be accepted as a bid.

Therefore I will impose the following penalty.

You may either use your Waiver and take him now

Meanwhile...

He will be unrestricted until 9am tomorrow for everyone else but you.

If no one has taken him by then, you are welcome to grab him unrestricted.

Surprised none of you have bid for Allen yet? Impressive debut by the guard with 40 fbl points.

Wouldn't expect many new players to be signed now. Getting a little late in the season.

watching the collingwood v bullies game on sunday the commentators - several times consitently said basketballers have better ball handling skills (WTF!!!)
they said clearly if you had some basketball background you would be more adept to handling skills

upside - evry aspiring footballer will nominate for social basketball over summer! (feral enough already)

downside - evry good ball player will now think they can play AFL

country basketball associations will be lovin this all teh footballers will play country summer basketball with this sort of national exposure
