put some feelers out stateside and got good feedback on lightning import !

"Fast hands, capable of unexpected steals and strips. Nifty jump hook when she catches down low, but she sometimes has a hard time getting free for the catch. Can shoot from 20 feet, though that's not where she belongs on the floor. Runs the floor well for a big, and knows where the open people are on the break. A little prone to turnovers when she moves without the ball, and when she's fronting a bigger post, she can get lost (but those two things are true of every young post).

I've never seen anyone else work so hard on a basketball floor, even before games she knows she's not likely to enter. When other players are walking through pregame warmup, Wilkins is making hard cuts, setting strong screens, making the most of every second she's got.

Her biggest asset is her character. The Monarchs' radio announcer said on-air that she's the "easiest person to talk to ever." Monarch teammate Kara Lawson said she's the funniest person in the room. Everyone in the Monarchs organization loves her, and she has many, many friends, well-wishers, and admirers at Arco Arena.
