Patty Mills to Spurs - confirmed yet?
According to the Spurs forum, Patty started working out with the team yesterday...just waiting on his US work VISA to come through.

And this from Andrew Gaze's Twitter:
AndrewGaze10 @jccool05Great news for@Patty_Mills and the Boomers. Patty gets to play with a fantastic franchise and work out daily with the Boomers coach

The Spurs signing of Patty Mills is being delayed due to government work visa issues according to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports.
Wojnarowski also writes that the Spurs have "no plans" to talk to Derek Fisher, so it appears the team is confident that Mills will ultimately be signed. He'll serve as a backup behind Tony Parker once he comes into the fold.

Spurs are wanting fisher now and want him first, if fisher signs with houston or somewhere else, they will go for patty however i know houston were in serious negotiations with patty. Just want to see him signed sealed and delivered and playing some good minutes. Might only play 10 mins a game at spurs but think he would be a better player being around parker and pop.

According to ESPN's Marc Stein, Portland still haven't released Patty's rights yet. And now the Spurs are interested in Derek Fisher as he's soon to be a free agent.
