NBL award nominations revealed
Even Alex Pledger couldn't believe the Breakers didn't nominate Jackson for DPOTY

Years ago
ROTY could be based on the number of NBA games played.
That is the criteria for som eof the State Leagues anyway.

Ok I know he's an Aussie who before this year had never played in the NBL but if Patty Mills is a candidate for RotY then why can't imports who've never played here be eligible?
Imports like Diamon Simpson and Jerai Grant are every bit the NBL 'rookie' that Mills was so what's the difference??

Years ago
I thought someone who had played professionally was disqualified from rookie of the year - two years in the NBA should disqualify you in any event - you aint no rookie!
