First of I think that Earl Boykins is a great player but how can you compare him to Michael Jordan or Magic. I no that if they were Earls size it may have been a different story but you cant say, if because it didnt happen. Anyway my pick for the best small player ever would have to be Spud Webb not only did he have a cool name but that guy was one of the best players going around at that time.

Spud Webb was only 5"8' and WON the dunk comp (late eighties some time). He is an NBA legend!
