Kings to lose home
20min drive? That all? Actually faster to drive than it is to train it!
People that usually catch a train from the shire to a Kings game, would be much harder to get to home bush. I've done it a few times, usually have to change at Redfern, then again at Flemington. If you're unlucky sometimes there is a bus in between.

Is there anything at Redfern? I haven't seen the technology park at all..
Only thing with moving out west, be it for only 3 years, is that the Kings will lose a core base of fans. People that don't live in Sydney or been around Sydney enough, don't realise how far away the western suburbs are to travel to. You can't even really make a night of it by hitting the pubs and clubs afterwards because there isn't that many.
Besides, west Sydney is a gang land lately.

Move them to the Central Coast/Newcastle for 3 years, like the Hornets did with Katrina.
Kind of joking, but, would be interesting to see what people thought of the idea. Because in reality, this will kill the Kings if they move to the old Razorbacks stadium.

Most likely move would be to either venue at Homebush though neither are desirable as they've done that before and it hasn't worked.

Read about this prospect a few weeks ago. Bad news for Sydney IMO. Do they take their games to the regions instead to garner increased support and connections with grass roots? Maybe a combination of that and a new temporary home?
