Patty with 9 points on 4/5 shooting (1/1 3PT) to go with 1 rebound, 1 assist, 1 steal and 1 turnover in 14 minutes as the Spurs blew out the Jazz in game 2.

What Patty did prove was that he can play and if an injury or something else comes into vogue he is ready to take the court and hic coach should have the confidence to play him where he needs him.

That being said, it's the playoffs and coaches will be less risk adverse, so I expect he will see less time or no time in close games but he has earned his spot on this team and could be considered as part of the future starting line up in an aging team.

Spurs have as much chance of making the final game of the playoffs as anyone, better than most too....!
