Townsville Crocs player interviews fabricated?
Mick, this is definitely a legitimate piece. Nothing released by the club is ever fabricated. If it was made up and even one detail was false, it would essentially be classed as defamation, so no one in their right mind would take that risk. The club did sit down with Todd and write up the transcript of the chat. The asterisk was part of the finalising process, where Todd was asked if he wanted to add anything more (something that he did not think of during the chat). He did not add anything more. The suggestion was simply one to make Todd's quote read better, and as you can see in Todd's other answers, he is mates with guys on the team, so to say he was spoon-fed or anything of the sort is wrong.
