Full Strength Australia Vs Full Strength NZ 2014
Tai Webster at 17 has a pretty decent future ahead of him judging on his first Tall Blacks foray. Just got keep him out of the joint rotation lol.
Tai Webster/Everard Bartlett
Kirk Penney/Cory Webster
Tom Abercrombie/Leon Henry
Mika Vukona/Isaac Fotu/BJ Anthony
Steven Adams/Alex Pledger/Rob Loe

i'd love to see adams prove himself

who would stop Cedric Jackson? Tall Blacks don't have anyone who could keep up let alone come close to stopping lol

Abercrombie and Vukona were both very good for NZ at the WC's against some strong opposition so to say Vukona is a solid role player at NBL level only is pretty rubbish.

I imagine after his WC performances over the years that Vukona would have definitely fielded offers from Europe.

NZ will always struggle to beat Australia, makes it so much sweeter when we do lol.
That NZ squad would however beat a lot of International teams and reinforces the fact that both teams deserve to play at International Tournaments for Oceania.
NZ has beaten some pretty decent opponents in the past 10-12 years and gone down narrowly to some even better.
I agree with Isaac re: NZ PG stocks, and at Braswell's age he isn't exactly the answer. On the bright side at least we finally have some size with Pledger, Adams and Loe. The PG spot is hole tho which is worrying.

2014 to 2018 could be Australia's window of opportunity IMO.
With a blend of talented players entering their prime, and with a bevvy of junior stars pushing up through the ranks.

Australia will always kill NZ on bench depth easily.
Australia 2-1
if Penney's too old to play Anon, Bogut must be to fragile and would surely be injured so write him off also.
