Mills turns down $885k option, opts for free agency

At a recent function attended by Mills and yours truly, when quizzed about his decision he advised he is sick of answering that question. He also said he has a "spur" in his foot... WTF? I reckon he won't get another offer as a back-up point guard and will sign with the Spurs. IMO he will become a much better player under the watchful eye of Brett Brown and learning from Tony Parker than as back-up in a bottom-dwelling team...

Given with what he had been saying, this was coming...

So Mills is a restricted Free Agent - this means that the Spurs retain the right to match any outside offer he receives.

So who will he get picked up by? Who needs his skill set?
