Braswell came into the Breakers in the 09-10 season and then played the whole 10-11 season in which they won a championship. He was not resigned last season due to an injury he sustained in the NZBL. Braswell has resided in NZ full time since signing with the Breakers and has played the last couple of seasons with the Southland Sharks.
