Bendigo is a HUGE basketball community and their basketball association is 1 of the biggest and most successful in Victoria. Doesn't matter how you determine success, I think Bendigo will meet all those different determining factors.
The Braves consider themselves professional, I'd say potentially the most professional team in SEABL.
I would not be surprised if the Braves had a bigger player budget than the Spirit, however, I think they have ALOT more to offer than money to their players. Like I said, the professionalism, the involvement in the community (where they are treated like superstars) and the ability to create huge hype around their home games.
