CJ Massingale... failed experiment?

Once he hits his first shot the flood gates will open and the confidence will be there!

Definitely dont think he is a failed experiment.
Despite his failed attempts of nailing a basket on the weekend, I am happier he got the shots up.

Its a case of time will tell. In Schenscher's two games and very early on in game 3, i heard many groans and yet he came to the fore and played well.

Difference is Luke is a go-to man with his height. CJ is a role player without height.

I spoke with people from Vic who know SEABL well. They said, give him a little time. Thats fair

I am thinking it is too early to call.

He is not like a Diamon Simpson or one of the many import stars in previous seasons that started, so he is not an import is the mind of some purists.

He definitely appears to be the 8th or 9th man on the roster, although Crossy seems to be between a rock and a hard place too.

Last night starters:

Schench; DJ; Stevie; Cadee; Gibbo

6. Peach, 7. Creek, 8. CJ, 9. Crossy, 10. Pero

I am wondering if the issue is not so much his ability, but finding his niche in the team.

Having said that, I hope he has a blinder soon.

You hit it on the head 8th/9th player on a team much more talented than the recent teams Ng was part of.

Regardless of his previous 3 games, other NBL coaches know he can produce therefore they can't afford to sleep on him. His record in the SEABL is exceptional and that was when he was surrounded by NBL calibre players and playing against.

It has been said by the coach that he has no pressure of expectation on him and it will be a matter of time when he has a breakout game. Its not like the court & ring dimensions and rules are different to SEABL.
