Best NBL players ever debate - Cedric Jackson
I recall Locke dropping 50 points just a day after stepping off the plane. Also briefly forgot "Jumping" Joe Hurst (a MVP).

and btw anonymous #791, Jackson has handle, quickness, the ability to penetrate, can pass and he can defend. The NBA isn't all about every guy being able to drop 30 in a game, Cedric is the perfect role player for a team that needs his skills because what he does well, he does very well.

How about assessing the players on their level of dominance/effect they have on every possession in this thread?
I'm pretty sure not all of you have watched NBL from the start, so don't even start on that best of all time business.
I haven't even been watching NBL for 10 years, but I can't see many guys being more effective on every possession (both ends of the floor) than Cedric Jackson.

Stephen Jackson get a look in? Not the best NBL import ever but his record since hasn't been too bad.

Powell scored with ease but I don't believe was as well rounded as Jackson. Kirk Penney would have to be up there, some of the shit he threw up with D draped all over him that went in was just ridiculous.

He seems to find a good balance between getting his team mates involved and taking over the game. Even tougher to guard with his outside shot falling.
Should be playing backup PG in the NBA IMO but stoked to have him playing for the Breakers again.

I guess there are many ways to interpret 'best player' debates. I know that's not enough in terms of career production, but a season and a bit is still enough to see skill and dominance level, that's what I'm getting at.

Who noticed the club have a new Water Boy?
