Isaac mentioned recently that an OzHooper had put $6K on a long shot. Obviously the guy's got deep pockets if he can risk that much. Unfortunately, gambling isn't exclusively open to the wealthy, & there're many struggling people drawn into the hope of the one BIG WIN.
I'm jubilant with our team's success over it's history, but I get the vibe that many expect much more.
What's brought on this movement away from 'Ball being anything but a game, & entertainment?
