Top 5 players at every position - NBL
the defensive intensity and pressure martin does is not recorded as a stat. But his ability to disrupt the offense of his opposition player/team is invaluable as a PG. Its as valuable as being a scoring threat

PG
1. Jackson
2. Flynn
3. Ervin
4. Gibson
5. Wilson
SG
1. Lisch
2. Madgen
3. Hurdle
4. Crawford
5. Goulding
(Very weak position!)
SF
1. Abercrombie
2. Weigh
3. Saville
4. Wagstaff
5. Blanchfield
(Another weak position)
PF
1. Redhage
2. Knight
3. Johnson
4. Tragardh
5. Forman
C
1. Nevill
2. Scott
3. Crosswhite
4. Schenscher
5. Pledger
Vukona is a flat out thug. The other 5 Power Forwards in this list are way, way more skilled.

the best defensive PG is currently Jackson Ox, check his stats.
R.Martin was playing the best out of the Australian PG's up until he injured his knee.
D.Martin is a heck of a player but not top 3 sorry (nor top 5), if he had a more consistant shot he may be of more value.

sorry but damian martin is clearly the best defensive player in the league (not just amongst PGs), and pressure would have to be one of the top 3 skills needed for the PG position. He also adds to great shot blocking and rebounding, unique for a guard. He would be behind jackson and possibly Ervin, but would have to be top 3 just for defensive skills he brings.

PG. Jackson
Ervin
Flynn
SG.Madgen
Lisch
Gibson
SF.Abercrombie
Sav
Blanchfield
PF.Scott
Vukona (I'm a Breakers fan)
Redhage
C. Knight
Neville
Pledger
I only did top 3 as there are only 8 teams.
PF and C are the deepest spots. I didn't include players who couldn't defend a chair so hence why Gibson is the only Sixer and guys like Trigger and Foreman weren't included either. R.Martin wasn't far off the pace in the PG race either.

DJ is overrated. Can't play D. Has the worst shot selection. Totally overrated.
Schensh is good if you have players coaches who know how to use him.
