Copeland was found guilty of the charge of 'Adopting a Threatening Attitude to an Official' after a telephone hearing by NBL Tribunal Chairman Ken Madsen and has been suspended for one game. Copeland will now miss Adelaides game against the Melbourne Tigers on Wednesday 23 January while he serves his suspension.</blockquote> Notes on the penalty from Madsen:<blockquote>Threatening Attitude to an Official. Penalty/Penalties In affixing a penalty, considerable weight was given to Lanard Copelands long and meritorious contribution to the League over 18 years. While he does push the envelope from time to time, he always seemed to know when to draw the line. In this instance, his behaviour appears to have been well out of character.
