Hawks Vs Breakers

On another note lets hope Sav's knee injury is nothing serious and hopefully he can be back on the court next round. How disastrous and unlucky would 3 serious knee injuries to one team in the space of a few weeks be? He was playing well before it happened, bullying Abercrombie in the low post.

What makes nz will make it to the gf any way?

1st place, 17/3 record, 9 game win streak, best player in the comp, shooting percentages going up, deepest squad in the comp, best road record, back to back titles and the most clutch players in the comp.

Leon Henry makes the most of his opportunities and is a decent player playing behind great players in Vukona, Abercrombie and Boucher. 14 points @ 50% 3 rebounds and 2 assists off the bench is a solid effort. Breakers will need guys like him knocking down the 3 ball against Perths zone come the finals.

Jackson with 18 points 7 rebounds 8 assists and 3 steals and Deleon with 24 points (8/9 from the freethrow line)

Club record 9 game winning streak and 17/3 for the Breakers.

Corletto and Bruton continuing thursday nights hot shooting.

Breakers up at half time 49-43

Deleon with 14 and Jackson with 12 and Bruton with 9. NZ with 14 offensive rebounds compared to the Hawks 4.

Early because in Wollongong you have a lot of Australia day celebrations around the harbor, so the game is earlier to capitalize on the crowd that will already been in the area.

Deleon is playing and Malcolm Grant has been cleared to play.

Tyson Demos is a game time decision still. He's had some knee pain during practice and apparently went down on Thursday. Friday's practice was called off because they were worried they would get another injury before Saturday!
