Graf signs 3 year deal to stay at Capitals

Can't dispute she has a great record. But she's had some stacked rosters over the years.

Her 2 Coach of the Year award came minus Jackson when her teams finished 2nd (won GF) and 3rd. Mind you she still had Bibby, Bishop (who went when Grima passed for Bulleen), Beatty, Abrams, Sharp and Bevilaqua!

This year LJ's loss was crushing with Bibby, Wilson and Cosier wearing down, and Dombkins and Ardossi ok at best.

Hunt, Lavey, Bunton are all promising so lets see what 2013-14 brings.

Graf has coached one premiership without her, and lost one Grand Final (2000/01) with her ( that was the one where ACT Basketball had spend several thousands of dollars on specially printed "capitals dynasty " t-shirts on them to sell after the game

I think we're all saying the same thing - can Graf only succeed when she has Lauren in the team?

Does her coaching philosophy need someone like a Lauren before it will succeed?

She would want to recruit more than just Jackson if she wants to win another championship. I think she has lost touch with coaching, (or lost the budget).
