Possible Kings move to Homebush

yeah thats a good idea ^ if they played at homebush all season, but maybe a single playoff game in all phones arena? or if they made the grand final?

One question: when the new entertainment centre is complete, it will be alot bigger and newer, so will it be more expensive for the kings to play in it?

And All Phones Arena is used for international tours, conventions etc. Trust me, if the Kings moved there, with the high running costs & advertising costs they enforce for events held there, they would go under mid-season.

I posted this on ATF about a year or more ago. At that stage the Kings had no solid plans to move to Homebush or anywhere else.

There was a rumour that the Kings were allowed to play at the SEC until the new stadium was built (apparently it was going to be built next door, wiping out parking but Kings wouldn't have to re-locate). Heal tweeted it and then it was re-tweeted by the Kings, however I spoke to the Kings from office who advised that wasn't the case & it was a misunderstanding, someone took something the wrong way. The last time I spoke to anyone from the Kings front office about it (2-3 weeks ago) they had said that there are a few options they're looking at. Homebush being one, Allphones Arena NOT being one due to their history and it's size/cost. But nothing was close to being finalised.

The Kings want to stay where they are for as long as humanly possible.

From what I know the developers are waiting for X amount of apartments to be sold in one of the new high risers before they can fund the new entertainment centre.

However, after the New entertainment centre is built, having a bigger and the best stadium will be a big plus for the kings

This is really bad for the kings, that is alot of seasons to be played somewhere else, and haveing a max of 5,000 at the state centre could mean loosing money?

it can only hold 5,000, that would mean it would be then end of getting some big crows like they did this season.

What about moveing to the All phones arena? it holds 17,000, and moveing to that would increase intrest and attendance because it is such a big ( and a newer) stadium.
but that would obviously cost alot more to play in.
