will the junior comp committee...?
@Ringlord - How about no?
@aristotle - If the goal is to put "the kids in an appropriately skilled / competitive group" then why single out Magic as the club that should have their teams promoted? Why aren't Sturt's boys allowed two div1 and div2 teams they can clearly fill? Same goes for Forestville's girls?
Obviously you know the answers to all these questions and your own, but are just hoping enough of your Magic buddies agree with your point of view to outnumber the clear majority.
To that I say:

Well said, 881. Move your kid to an association club and save yourself a lot of disappointment.

'western u12 g D3 ? - to d2 ?'
No. Only if BSA continue to contradict themselves re: association club policies... oh wait
'tigers u14 g div 2 ? - to d 3 ?'
If Tigers nominate div2, they'll get div2...
'western magic u14 g div 3 ? - to d 2 ?'
No. You do realize they aren't overachieving? Last two rounds of the regular season: Forestville 4 beat them and Sturt 3 drew with them.
'woodville u14 g D3 ? to d 4 ?'
No. They want to enter a team into div1 by poaching players from other clubs, not relegate their only team to div4.
'centrals u16 g D2 ? to d 3 ?'
No. If Centrals nominate div2, they'll get div2...
'western magic u16 g D3 ? to 2nd d 2 team ?'
Same situation with U14G; Magic are on par with Forestville and Norwood.
'west u18 g D2 ? to d 3 ?'
No. If Bearcats nominate div2, they'll get div2...
'these teams have either won it all or won no games - with % either 200 or less than about 50.'
Clearly you didn't do your homework.

Stop it! You are making too much sense.
