Wortho, goulding and gibbo bring back the dayz on the gc. He fits in perfect there, they all like to cry a bit

I think Gibson has been a real classy player this year. Our offensive system is absolutely pathetic and Gibson works tirelessly to get something out of it. He's been the only player all year that I haven't been frustrated by. He's not a first option guy. He's a really unselfish second or third option that is going to get the most out of the guys around him. Without him, I really hate to think what this season would have been like for us. He really did hold this team together. I hope he stays, I really hope he stays.

Would be happy to see Weigh go, but that's mostly due to his ridiculous over-use as one of Clarke / Ginger Gnome's boys.

If he was run at reasonable minutes, his rebounding and outside game might be of use in a properly structured system.

Gibson as a second guard to a solid import might work, but he's not a go-to guy more often than not.

Cliche' to say, but we need a Maher type consistent game winner in my opinion.

I disagree that Gibson hasn't been engaged, despite what the 'expert' sport psychologist observed.

The guy simply isn't great at using the pick & roll, which dominates the offence... after scripted and largely useless ball and player movement, of course.

Add to this the fact that he isn't a 'scorer' - but rather a capable shooter - and that this season he has shouldered more of the offensive load than he ever as in his relatively short career, the results are to be expected.

Oh, and did I mention Marty as a possible factor?

I for one hope the rumors are false and Gibson returns to Adelaide. A backcourt of Gibson, Cadee and Daly would be monstrous in a few short years.
