Here it says he played 18 games for the 36ers in 2006. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ben_Madgen

Although I've looked through the box scores for that season, not one game played.

Not sure if Blanchfield was originally listed a development player.

Norton was never a development player. The reason why he never played last season was due to injuries not his status. He was signed as a full contract player.
