No one should be surprised, this is the same every year.
Only one or two WNBL clubs have any sort of semi guaranteed income stream and depend heavily of signing sponsors every year - so in turn most players are also only ever signed to one year contracts.
Hence the Free Agents List each year is pretty much the whole list from many to most clubs.
