I see that the round 1 ABL previes are now up on the Central ABL website.
I found this interesting:
"Jarrod Younie, who sat out last season with an achilles tendon tear has been refashioned as a point guard"
Do you think this could work? Mavs obviously need a point guard. Modra has done it at times but giving Younie the responsibility to change to a pass first player may just be a master stroke from new coach Wade Hampton. I suspect Centrals may just test this out early with some full court pressure to start the game. Should be a good contest between two improving teams.
It also says that Dusty isn't playing. I thought he was in town - is he injured or just not playing? If he doesn't play I think Norwood may get this one.
The other two games (South vs Southern and West vs Sturt) will be good contests and are too close to call.
