Agree with anon 418864. He's a legit defensive "presence" not just stat hoarder, and the way he guarded Tim Duncan 1 on 1 through games 1-4 was fantastic. Unfortunately there's always an implicit asterisk next to Bogut's name when mentioned, and the asterisk is "when healthy". Hence more stat-oriented guys get the mentions.
He is best suited to a team like GSW where there is zero pressure for him to score.
Wow, I thought Bogut had been doing well but I had no idea the figures would be THAT good! Imagine how much better they'd be if he could close out on Duncan a little better!
Just goes to show that if the Boomers can get a healthy Bogut on the floor and build the right team and gameplan about him, they can challenge for a medal in the next couple of tournaments!
