Top ten NBL players since 1990
Thanks everyone whilst I loved Marcus Timmons, Mike Mitchell, Bruce Bolden, Leon Trimmingham, Tony Ronaldson, Chris Anstey and Melvin Thomas, the fact they weren't mentioned just adds to the greatness of those listed.
I personally loved Steve Woodberry's game and the defensive skills of David Van Dyke and think Kirk Penney doesn't belong but maybe time will change that

When that happens they can replace Overton because he clearly shouldn't be on the list.

I think there needs to be at least 100 games of service played as well, maybe 200?

So tough... like the current Triple J poll. 1990 was the first year I started following the NBL. I put a premium on NBL success too... there have been some great players like Ray Owes & Doug Overton, but they stayed only for a season or two.
Okay here's mine:
Steve Woodbery
Ricky Grace
Andrew Gaze
Brett Maher
Mark Bradtke
Rob Rose
Andrew Vlahov
Darryl McDonald
Shane Heal
James Crawford
I did have Loggins in there, but took him out. He undoubtedly is an NBL great, but his best years & championships were in the 80's. The D-Train sure was great, but wasn't here long either (& when he came back to the Bullets, his best years were behind him).
As Bullets fan from 1990, it hurt a lot to list so many Wildcats players; but their record stands. I loved Derek Rucker... and to be sure, it was because of his electric play that got me hooked on a BBall. He didn't have the wins unfortunately.

What do you get if you break it down by position? It seems like we have a real concentration in the PG / SG / SF spots, but not too many in the PF / C spots.
Was Bradtke the best C? Was Gaze or Rucker the best PG? Was Penney the best SG?

Terry Dozier Chris Jent Dwayne McClain Darryl McDonald Rob Rose Leroy Loggins Ricky Grace Chris Williams James Crawford Derek Rucker
