Beantown, ive only seen bairstow play once and he reminded me of cam trigger, a guy with the size but no athletic ability, he shot very poorly. maybe I saw his only bad game, but wasn't impressed with it. he didn't look like he passed well from the low block either. that's all from 1 game though so not really in any position to judge a guy, im sure you have seen plenty of him. Good luck to all of them in the team.

Sitiveni, I think the Petrie/ Bairstow combo should do well against NZ. I like the size and hustle those two bring.

I don't think our outside shooting is going to be much good with this team, but it should have enough firepower overall for the Kiwis.

Really looking forward to seeing what Exum and Simmons can do at senior level.

I hope Exum plays, he will run rings around NZ. idk but seems like our 4 position is quite weak, maybe simmons can play some although I think with Ando and Neville we will play small against NZ. Lets see if Joe is the focal point of our offence

Given that 1. Newley is a lock for the '14 World Championships if healthy, 2. he is recently married, and 3. NZ aren't looking ultra-competitive, could Brad have voluntarily given up his spot for guys like Simmons and Exum?

I would hate to be in Lemanis's position: having to choose between these guys for a qualifier when you're looking to include the younger stars for long-term continuity.

Even without Bogut, Baynes, Newley, Jawai etc this should be a cracker of a series from the Boomers.
