Great basketball story - love the game
Nice piece
Respect to Newcastle who won the Andrew gaze fair play team award at the tournament for striking up a friendship and taking this team under their wing all week, beautiful to see
Disrespect to Perry Lakes who needlessly pressed for the full game to rack up a 116 point margin against them
Respect to the Southern Peninsula Sharks who then pressed Perry Lakes all game and beat them by 50+ as payback for their efforts above
I had to venture to Morphett vale for a Sunday morning 8.30 game. When entering, I was advised that the courts were slippery due to condensation. There were drops of water coming from the roof. While there were a number of people walking around with cloths to mop the water up, there were a few players slipping over.
I wonder what would happen if somebody gets seriously hurt after sliding on 'condensation', especially when the stadium staff are very aware of the dangers?
