Aussie "NCAA Div 1 College Watch" - 2013/14 Season

We have uploaded a new article that provides some insights into the NCAA from an Aussie up and coming coach.

From the Sidelines: Observations by an Aussie coach in the NCAA

One of those also trying to make their mark as a coach in the NCAA is Western Australian Michael Clarke. Clarke has kindly provided his own insights into Division I college hoops exclusively for The Pick and Roll after completing his first year with Virginia Commonwealth men’s basketball program. This is his take.

South Australia and University at Albany guard Peter Hooley has joined #TeamPnR as a regular contributor!

Check out his first blog that covers his season and their road to the 2014 NCAA Tournament.

The road to the 2014 NCAA Tournament: It’s tough to beat a team that plays with heart

What a year it was.

The term ‘roller coaster’ would be an understatement to describe the season as we went from the defending champion to experiencing an identity crisis, stealing a couple of games on the road, to losing the unthinkable. And then when everyone had counted us out, we turned on the switch, coming away with another championship.

Check out the link for more.

I went with Hooley and Greenwood ahead of him. My view, my opinion. Very unlucky to miss out, as was Jois.

With the Final Four scheduled for this coming weekend and the season all but over the for Aussies, it is time to recap the NCAA post-season action.

Post-season action brings opportunities to win a conference title, a tournament, and of course, an opportunity to earn a ticket to the big dance. Welcome to March and the madness that it brings!

You can watch a lot of college hoops games live online legitimately!

For teams playing in the Moutain West (i.e. New Mexico, Boise State and Wyoming) who all feature Aussies, check out: The Mountain West - Live

For teams playing in the America East (i.e. Hartford & Albany) who also feature Aussies, check out:
America East Live TV . For this website you have to sign up but if you are in Australia there is no geo-blocking.

For teams in the Big Sky (i.e. Idaho State, Eastern Washington & Montana) who also feature Aussies, check out:
Big Sky Live Online. Like America East, you have to sign up but geo-blocking restrictions do not appear to apply to Australia.

There may be more, but I know these three have worked well for me so far.
