We've got very dangerous inside threats in Redhage, Ennis and a competent threat in Jervis, so other coaches are giving up space outside, or trying to cheat on defence by leaving certain people open. Wollongong took it to an extreme and paid cash for the mistake.
Wagstaff, Beal, Ennis, Redhage and Martin are all hitting from the arc very well, which forces teams to stay honest.
I think we're also finally starting to figure out those damned rims.
Also think that Adelaide's pitiful FT% is leading directly to their huge number of FT attempts. Sending to the line is a pretty good way of clawing back points here and there as long as you don't get fouled out.
@Macdub,
Yeah, Breakers have been rather a one-way team - the Wilko moved seemed to be doubling-down on the offence-only gamestyle.

The Perth 3P stat backs up a gut feeling I had and if I looked at last season's stats probably shows a similar thing. I noticed that whenever we played Perth they always seemed to go for threes - and get them!
Perth put up 9 more 3PA per game than the Sixers and if the 3P% average for the league is 34%, then Adelaide has 3 guys above that, Perth have 5. Erik (known for his prowess beyond the arc) is not one of those.
The top in 3PA so far are:
Goulding 9.0, R Clarke 7.2, Beal 6.3, McCamey 6.2, Camouche 5.5, Blanchfield 5.4, Ennis 5.2, Forman 4.7, Harvey 4.7, Coreletto 4.6, Wagstaff 4.3, Wortho 4.3, Ervin 4.3.
The leaders in 3PM are:
Goulding 3.4, Beal 2.5, R Clarke 2.3, Camouche 2.3, Ennis 2.2, Corletto 2.1, McCamey 2.0, Forman 2.0, Wagstaff 2.0, Ervin 1.9.

And show their players*
Have to amend before Mick and his spelling authority make a comment.

Shows just how poor the Breakers defence is:
Highest FG %
2nd Highest 3 point FG %
Yet, we can't win ball games.
Also, we are last in shots per game, which suggests we don't create as much turnovers from our defence/don't get as many steals. (Would have been number 1 with Ced)
Great statistics. Must be great for coaches to see these and show they're players just how much certain areas of the game are hurting them (Vickerman could use these to show his team just how much their poor defence is negating any of their offensive skill set)

Maybe Adelaide are going to the stripe more because they can't hit 'em? The opposition is fouling them because of their horrible FT%?

A couple of things I picked up. Firstly he comments that "Yao Ming cannot carry China on his back" on the very day Yao scores 30 points on 10/11 shooting and 10/11 from the line.
Next up he says that due to his late arrival Bogut is not responsible for our results "I've said that our success is based on how Brad Newley, (David) Barlow, how Patty Mills, how Joe Ingles, how those guys play.". I struggle to take him seriously if he's expecting me to swallow that Ingles's 7 minutes a game has more impact on the result than our NBA star's 20 minutes.
I can see what he's doing trying to take the pressure off the player and divert it on himself as coach, and that's admirable, but his logic seems a little off. This also raises the question of why he's only getting 20 minutes of court time a game, AK47 played all but 30 seconds today for his line of 17 points, 6 boards, 6 assists, 6 steal and 3 blocks. If Bogut is the main man on this team then let's give him 35 minutes to see what he can do, if that means Anstey only sees 5 minutes then so be it.
Or maybe there's more to it?
