east coast challenge
Ridiculous comment that the girls were boring and had no skill level. Clearly you are from South Australia. I watched both boys and girls games and there was plenty of talent from both. There were a number of junior Australian players playing in the U18 girls comp. if you bothered to watch their games you might have learned something to take back to SA. Oh, yes U16 both Vic teams played off in the Grandfinal and U18 Vic beat NSW. SA must have gone home early
@fstos, yes the sponsorship money for junior sport is very hard to find, basketball included.
Yet kids love to play in these events and I believe coaches only look at kids in these tournaments for the Nationals too, so there is a big incentive to play.
