Knight out two more weeks: http://au.news.yahoo.com/thewest/sport/basketball/a/20889311/crock-knight-out-for-two-more-weeks/

Thankfully Sydney's upset over Adelaide has given us a little breathing room again, so they shouldn't feel too forced to bring him back in early.

"Outline his workouts and his rehab process the Cats put him through Kobe, how much work did he do each day, what was his recovery afterwards and how did they monitor his symptoms?"
They were trying to work out whether he could play. Even if it was just a light workout, the game wouldn't have been.
The fact that he's come down with another concussion already, and played pretty sluggishly on Friday night, lends credence to my side of the argument. Particularly when the other side of the argument just assumes he must be okay, because someone said so. It's not exactly unheard-of for a team doctor to clear someone who shouldn't have been cleared, simply because the team wanted that player.

They didn't determine that 10 days was enough time. He was concussed Tuesday, flew Wednesday or Thursday, and worked out Saturday.
He should've missed the Wollongong game, then he would've been good to go on Friday night.

Being a doctor is irrelevant. Concussion guidelines are well-publicised.
If I were claiming he had a concussion and the medical staff disagreed, "you're not a doctor" would be valid. But the 'Cats staff have said he had a concussion and was experiencing symptoms on the Saturday. What needed to happen after that is well known, and I'm pretty sure it's an actual rule in the NFL.
FWIW, my brother's football team's medical staff frequently clear him to play, only for him to go to an independent doctor and be told he shouldn't have. They're team doctors, not player doctors, and the team wants its players available. Their job isn't to look after the safety of the players, it's to get them on the field.

You have to be free of symptoms for a week after a concussion in order to be cleared. Knight was suffering symptoms last Saturday, but they worked him out that morning to see if he could play that night.
Flying with a concussion in general is a bad idea. Shorter flights may have been better, but he really should've stayed in Cairns for a few days.
Keep in mind this is the same medical team that cleared Damian Martin to play in the semi finals last year.

cats by 20. they won't lose 3 in a row. not with this team

Hopefully we won't have to rely on a Matty Knight 3-pt shot to seal this one...
