honestly if he didnt get poked in the eye. that wouldve been our best chance of winning the bloody thing.
potentially from a basketball fans pov just as damaging as the under arm ball . still results stand we finished higher then team USA .

penney & adams will be vital . and the team will have to go through the toughest camp ever. come world cup time . no bullshit . no dramas. no bloody drugs scandals.

My friends and I had never seen him play in the NBA leading up to the WC's and wondered how good he would actually be in a Black Singlet.
We were not disappointed in the 02 WC's in Indiana. He was a beast in the paint for the Tall Blacks and we nick named him "Air New Zealand" for his athletic dunks. It was such a shame when he got poked in the eye and could no longer play any part in the Tall Blacks best ever result at an International Tournament.

Spain we could potentially see a team on the court with even more talent especially if we can get Adams in Black along side Kirk Penney, Mika Vukona & Tom Abercrombie.

Slingers have won 2 from 2 and are looking good to claim the Singapore cup. Interestingly, Eric Sandrin had 24pts 14 boards- would have loved to see him play in the NBL!! CARN SLINGERS
