Sixers v Cairns 1st Feb
Weigh got some early fouls. Sitting on 4 at the end of the game. He game out and first shot went in, then got a couple of quick fouls, had a break then next time out fouling Creeky I think.
Actually didn't look too bad. I can understand why some commentators don't need viagra when they are talking about him.

How come Weigh's minutes were down so much? Was he injured? I didn't see the game but his stats seemed efficient enough.

About 50% of 36ers games livestats crashed this season the worst it's ever been.
Creek played more minutes than Frye.
Creek played more minutes than S.Weigh... if nbl boxscore is correct.....
But I'm afraid Frye haters will not be in charge of the 36ers destiny, not even them.

How does everyone know it's Slocombe? I'd not heard anything about the account's ownership (other than the 'she' tweet, which makes no sense) prior to this discussion.

It was an extremely entertaining game tonight. Both teams played very well and Cairns hit numerous tough shots to stay in the game down the stretch. The key was that we never allowed them to get infront on the scorboard at any stage in the last quarter.
The reason the sixers win a lot of close games though is the ability of our offense to regularly get quality shots when needed. This wasn't the case last year as with many of the same players, the offense was often stagnant when the game got tight and we went for long periods being unable to score. A lot of credit has to go to Joey for this, he has got the sixers playing exceptionally well on the offensive end and is the main reason we are second on the ladder but also helps puts bums on seats as it is pretty to watch.
Probably the best game I have ever seen DJ play also, he is the best offensive big man in the league, even though he does have some work to do on defence.
The one dissapointing thing about the game night for me was the music was far too loud. Numerouse people in the area I sit were reiterating this also, and I would argue that the sound level of the music was dangerously high? The atmosphere was good enough in the stadium without the music being blasted like it was.

legggggggo taipans ! killem Ruscoe

"@NBLfacts. I believe it's Mark Slocombe running that account."
Only if Slocombe's a woman: https://twitter.com/NBLfacts/status/380966224814813184

I'm not sure how many taipans games you've seen this year Anon but Burston has been fantastic and probably the most consistent Taipan all season.

No disrespect to Schenscher (well, just a little bit), as a Cairns fan, I'm happy to see more of him and less of BJ. When Adl played in Cairns BJ completely monstered them, but for some reason he only played about 10 minutes (maybe he lacks a certain amount of match fitness). Adl should have exploited that.
Cairns having 4 of their last 7 at home isn't necessarily a good thing. This season I think they've been playing better on the road.
