Round 5 - SA State League Preview
909-- Did "alleged" Woodville player see somebody outside window? Looking, Looking?

Ah "Rivalry Round" Norwood vs North in the battle of the Nors. Southern vs South in the Mitsubishi Cup, Centrals v Mavs in the Pariah Cup, West v Woodville in the Wingfield Cup, and Sturt v Eagles in the Silver Spoon Challenge.
All the women's games should be great. The Norwood juggernaut hasn't got out of 2nd gear and in Jo Hill's testimonial year North are going the extra yard. South have found their Mojo with Mahoney calling Marion home. Sturt and Forestville could go either way and the most disappointing thing about Sturt is "where's a Bowley?" Is this the first season Sturt haven't fielded one? Someone better change their name quickly! The Centrals/Mavs tussle might be the MOTR for the wrong reasons in any other round. Centrals are the youngest team on the pine, but 69/266 FG won't win too many games so KB with some work on those shooting drills once he's finished with the Cats.
The men's games are all delicious. Woodville setting the pace will dominate the Battle for The West - yeeee hawww grandma! Mahersy will ask himself why he is coaching with the Eagles running wild. The big question will be how many Toorak tractors can they fit in the carpark? Seriously, the value of the tin metal will be more than at Prestige Motors on Mercedes Day. The Lions have been disappointing this year and would not like to hear those banjos playing in Gawler. Man, if Mavs get a win, they'll just crack that moonshine and do a little jig. North struggling, but Norwood's David Cooper strategically deciding to start coaching now only to avoid the temptation of pulling his hair out - he doesn't need to worry as they are doing better than Mike Rann in Italy.
