2014 NBL Offseason Signings: Rumours & Confirmed
Considering the players that they've got, would it be better for the Wildcats to keep Jervis over Wagstaff maybe?
They can still fit all their players from last season in under the cap and loyalty points, I assume any hold up is due to the loyalty points scheme needing to be finalised?

I think Crosswhite was an example of just how stressful/strenuous being a college athlete can be.
I think he was and always has being a good guy, but just needed something to relieve the stress and pressure whilst at College; hence the drinking and drugs. Not saying drugs are normal, but the drinking at bars after games was probably his attempt at restoring some normality and getting away from the scene.
“Behavioural issues” is such a wide net.
I hear it thrown around to describe many college basketball athletes.
But, people need to understand exactly what the issues are. These athletes are still kids. They are still going to make mistakes. Sometimes media outlets like ESPN etc. equate a college athlete going for a beer or two with heinous murder.

Yeha, bit hard to judge people on how they act at college compared to either at home, or in a professional environment... It's easier to fix an attitude problem than it is to teach 7ft tall.
I never knew (still don't really) too much about him, but from the clips I've seen he's certainly worth looking at by most teams. Looks a lot more solid than MacMillan, won't get pushed around, if he can play decent D and smash the boards, I think he'd be a decent pick up for teams that need help there...
Hawks could really use that sort of help since Harris-Tunks never really got a look in (too slight a build?) and you'd think Gordie would work any attitude problems out of him quick smart...

I'm interested to see if Muo gets another season at Wildcats, supposed to be a good defender and I anticipate watching him.

Must be overexaggerated to me.
Doubt the behavioural issues at college were as bad as what anyone makes it to be.
If it was, he wouldn't have lasted.
The pros have much more tolerance for bad boys than colleges in the States.

Statman,
Possibly, but he had only being in NZ for a week and I can't imagine any team would let their import go overseas for 4 or so days to attend a party. Might be reading too much into it, but id say it was a business trip.
Breakers still going hard after Fotu (which they should let go). Can certainly see Tai Webster coming to the Breakers this time next year if his SOPH season goes similar to his Freshman year.
Ritchie Edwards may be involved with the Breakers somehow. He went off for 40 on the w.e in NZ. But not surprised. Played at Valpo and Arizona State. With Abercrombie and Te Rangi at SF though, might be hard to get him in.
An Australian team should snap him up. Has unlimited potential.

Perth need to announce something soon hey!

Cadee to Sydney a probability, if not certain.
Took a trip to Sydney on the weekend (whilst in the midst of the NZNBL).
Wouldn't think he would be going over there for the weekend in the middle of the season if it wasn't to put pen to paper with Sydney (or at least facilitate serious discussion).
