Dragons new import is Donta Smith (Hence the confusion with Dontae Jones). 6"7' Small forward capable of playing 2, 3 or 4. Can put the ball on the floor and create but also able to hit the outside shot. Suprisingly similar to Dontae Jones....both a small amount of NBA experience, both just completed a gig in China. Smith's averages in China include a much better (than Jones) 58.2% from the field and 37.8% from 3 point range. 34.4 Minutes per game 22 ppg 5.8 rpg 4.8 apg 2.6 spg Very much the all around player that they said they were after. Certainly looks like a good prospect...will be very interested to see how he goes. He is already in Melbourne and they're confident he'll suit up for the Boxing Day clash with the Blaze.
