Sac girls have a tough pool and draw with Vic metro up front followed by a double header but they are clearly a top 4 contender and equally matched or slightly ahead of SAM girls .

Your right, the country cup is a long way off from nationals, however, it is probably the best possible indicator of how good the country teams will be.

Adelaide's steady progression up the NBL ladder has been matched by the shortening of their odds with bookies. These numbers are from Centrebet:

Hard to know yet if the recent roster changes at the Tigers means they're value at $6, but the rest looks about right. The Dragons have an excellent record at home and depth which means they're easily favourites while the Breakers could slip a touch if they lose games without Bruton.

Top two might be a stretch for Adelaide so the road win in Melbourne and close-call in Perth are heartening, showing that the 36ers have enough to win a series against possible early opponents.
