Diamon Simpson hasn't fixed up his free throw shooting action. They only go in by mistake!

This my personal opinion, but for Kobe to be mentioned with the greats like MJ, Magic, Bird, Kareem, Wilt, Russell and....Shaq, he needs to win the championship this year, maybe the next as well.

I know he has won championships before, but despite what anyone here may post, Shaq was the alpha dog and the catalyst for the championships. That was proved when he won in Miami.

Kobe has not been able to get a Shaq-less ring and was SHUT DOWN by Boston last year.

Now that was enough for me to decide Kobe is a superstar- but not a legend of the game.

For others it would seem that the loss of Bynum was the reason for the finals failure, so that brings us to this year.

Full roster means one thing. He must win this year.

Failure to do so will mean he will be remembered with an asterix *Wouldn't have won a championship without Shaq.

With the roster he has now- there are simply no excuses.
