Blitz Wrap - any surprises?
PnR's recap of the final day of the Blitz that to Craig Rayner who was there in Brisbane.
Townsville claim the 2014 NBL Pre-Season Blitz title

The standard of players in the league this year is absolutely crazy.
It's just disappointing that the average 'ocassional' fan doesn't realise that as much as us forum-posters do.
Re: the Hawks - what if they got Neville and went after Dillion. p.s. where did Martin actually end up..can't find anything anywhere.
I think if the Hawks got rid of Carson and went with the following, they would be much more balanced:
Ervin
Dillion
Coenraad
Forman
Neville
I think it would be feasible - Davidson's salary and Carson's salary would be $200-225k.

Ross showed that all the fuss over Guam gate wasn't warranted.
McRae is the must see player this season.
Melbourne Utd clear favorite to win it all.
Perth will finish the season second.
Townsville 3rd.

Demos and Coenraad top scoring for the Hawks - didn't see that one coming but good on them.
Wilbekin was fantastic and great to see Tragardh have a successful return from injury. Loughton could do with a haircut though.

Was impressed with Wilbekin, McRae and Gladness in particular.
Think this will be one of the closest seasons in NBL history.

Jordan McRae for Melbourne - 28 points in both games. You could tell he wanted to show what he's got but in the 2nd game he gelled a bit more with the team working well in tandem with Worth on a number of plays...
