"Bye" is the best by far.

Played in a touch team once called "Far Canal" and another called "the Cunning Stunts", then we had to change it, so we changed it to "The Cunning Linguists"

In the Wednesday night comp at Golden Grove, there is a team that a few of the refs play in. So, another team decided to call themselves "Umpires Team" to create confusion. There's also another team called "Team Name".

Hanging Round

When a team from Taperoo High School left school but stayed together as a team on Sat mornings at St Clair, the name became Taperoo Testys.
A team recently played at St Clair as The Wonderful World of Goodness sponsored by Burnt Toast. The refs hated it- they could play too. The next name for the team was Hungry Goats, then St Angela's Choirboys.

A mate of mine (a baller and a comedian) tells this story

"We entered a team into a social comp, giving ourselves the name BYE-Round. So when the program's were printed when a team thought they were to play us, they saw BYE-Round and didn't rock up. We then would meet at the stadium, wait the mandatory 10 minutes, then go down the pub. It was 20-0 wins for most of the season."

Also, a team i currently play against are called 'Yo Momma' it funny when someone cheers for them. "Go yo momma" ... "c'mon yo momma" etc
