What a classic hide behind a fake name post. Mate who ever you are I would gladly discuss the latest news regarding the Buccs. Rather then make up rumours and try run my name down how about you get the facts. If you read the local paper you will see Hez has been offered a teaching/coaching position too good to refuse and both he and Zoe have lost countless nights of sleep in making their decision. I and the entire playing group have thrived under the guidance of Hezza and we as a whole club are very disappointed although respectful of Hez and his families decision. By no means was Hez sacked in fact we did all we could to try convince Hez to give it another shot. He is with out a doubt the most professional coach I have played under or played against. The buccaneers value the services of Hez so highly it will make it tough for the next coach whoever that may be to reach his standards. As for myself threatening to quit if I don't get my way? Haha what a laugh mate 12 years of both service and honor playing for this great club for nothing but love and a couple beers in the change rooms after the game. Geezzz you really are reaching for a rumour aren't you.

Since both Hez and horse have been involved in our great club we have gone from strength to stregth. 2 great home and away season with some bad luck regarding our 2nd import hurting us come business end. There is no sour grapes with the boys from North and we can't wait for season 2016. Who ever does become the Buccs next coach I'm sure will be excited knowing he has got a returning playing group dog hungry for finals success and ready for the hard work to begin.

I think the BBL is classed as second tier from memory. That would mean Bennie will still be unrestricted.

That excuse has been trotted out for 3-4 years now. He's played enough and seen enough to have picked up on things.

Physically he has tools, mentally he doesn't get the game and he may never really do that. It's not a knock, just a reality.

It's not my job to contact the clubs - that lies with the SBL. And secondly it's not even a job, this is a volunteer gig - so chill.

I've been in contact with "some" clubs - Willo and Wolves through personal relationships I have with some people at those clubs. I could care less who wins this weekend, one actually reached out to me.

The SBL is the one responsible for getting in contact with the clubs for run ons. So I'm waiting on them.

And in fact I received Rockingham's run on song on Monday. I've been told it is "When a fire starts to burn" by Disclosure.

I find it hilarious that you are one of the most die hard SBL fan boys out there but are so quick to judge on someone that's trying to help out.

I've played for East Perth - My only bias for the weekend is making sure it's a fun event and the background music we provide creates a better experience than a Wildcats game.

On a side note - if anyone attending the game does like the background music and style we provide please email your supporting thoughts to the wildcats.

We'd love to have that opportunity and we are hoping that if we do well enough this weekend that it might open some doors.

Backspin - I'm doing the music for the game.

I have been in contact with some clubs and have been given some information for music for each team - as far as run ons.

Unfortunately not all teams have the best sound technicians/game night people - and some clubs do it a lot better than others. But not to fear we will have it covered.

The SBL is still sending me through requests and specific songs for each team, which I can guarantee will be played.

I've also been in contact with Lachie to see what he's feeling and any request he has.

We will be trying to channel the old Paul Malone/Lachie Challenege stadium vibe. Although it's a bit harder when the MC is impartial.

The atmosphere of the game will ultimately depend on how close it is.

Fingers crossed its a tight one!

Myself and "Wild 1" will be back as SBL Sound Technicians for the Grandfinal this weekend.

We'll be doing both the men and women's game. Lachie Reid will be the MC for the mens (not sure about the womens).

You will be happy to know there will be much less repetive sound FX usage than the all-star game.

We plan on playing less music than at the all-star game and just letting the crowd dictate the feeling of the final.

And with Lachie at the helm we are trying to stock up on as many basic "clap along" songs as possible.

Any suggestions/advice is welcomed.

Kalamunda have a large catchment area but not a large population. Mundaring have been granted a WABL licence but don't have to field all age groups, don't know when it will start though. BWA could look at the growing areas of Butler, Mindarie or down the southern corridor, North and South is where the growth is not East.
Its good lakeside have prospered being so close to Willetton and Cockburn, but how many of the kids were Willetton Juniors. With different divisions being introduced in all the age groups, clubs like Redbacks, Suns, Cockburn and even Lakeside won't pick up kids that didn't make Willetton teams. More divisions are good but I feel probably more so for the strong clubs with huge domestic competitions. Hopefully for the good of the competition these clubs tell good young players that miss out that there are other clubs out there if they want to play WABL.

Kalamunda is an ageing area with only a small number of juniors that try out for WABL no competition for spots. Turn out for WABL trials and you'd have to be pretty unlucky to get cut, some teams only have 10 turn up. With kids coming from Gidgegannup, Sawyers Valley and Mundaring it amazes me that BWA have granted Mundaring a WABL licence, Suns and Mundaring would then both be struggling for numbers and weakening the competition further.
Suns need strong SBL teams that can get bums on seats with imports and local players doing some promotion at schools in the area.
