R12: Kings v Breakers
Like Melbourne did last round Anon?
Remember it was supposed to be Perth, Melbourne and then daylight and NZ weren't even tipped to make the 4 by most on here yet they should have won by 20 in a game they were always supposed to win according to you?

"Kings really need to have some better guys on the bench - not going to get it done with son of j and k white"
Agree, Joyce has basically taken White's minutes now, but can't find a way to contribute.

The Kings comeback was deceptive, primarily due to NZ having a shortened bench through injuries to Jackson, Carter, Vukona and Pledger. Looked strange at one time to see NZ bench with only 2 players on it.

Kings got smashed in the first half - that first half was one of the most one-sided in the NBL this season.
Breakers take down Kings in Boxing day battle
With star player Josh Childress on the bench nursing a strained hamstring, the under-strength Kings were forced to start a smaller lineup – One the Breakers took advantage of, controlling the glass and claiming an absurd 13 offensive rebounds. After falling behind by double digits early, Sydney struggled to get back into the contest, never threatening to actually win the game.

A feast of sport after a feast of Xmas day culinary delights!
Can the Breakers bounce back against a Kings team on a roll (minus the Childress-less team vs Melb).
I think if Childress plays, the Kings will win by 3.

Any chance we can lure him Down Under?
It is true though, he is on the decline and body is banged up. Certainly been a great champion, but gone downhill since leaving the Pistons.
