Gotta agree with a lot of A..mous's observations, but in those games where Wilbekin has held up the ball to 'create something' for himself he has looked very like another itteration of Wilson: a handful but unhelpful. Fearne has critted him; it hasn't been a feature in recent games.
I'm being won over. Wilbekin's D is often extaordinary. His effort seems continuous. Offensively he's like watching a chess master. Clearly he carries the respect of the team, but there is also a new respect all round it seems. Taipans are a unit, a unit the talented but ununited Melbourne can only dream of being. I'm sad about that but love watching the evolution of true contenders.

Fresh off a championship with the South Dragons, Vukona joins his New Zealand national teammate Pero Cameron on the Blaze roster.
Vukona is arguably the most athletic player in the NBL and at 198cm (66) is a superb rebounder who played an essential role in the Dragons championship run last season.
He is also an exceptional defender, a quality highly prized by Head Coach Joey Wright.
Full article at NBL.com.au

The Gold Coast Blaze added another key ingredient to their lineup on Thursday as former West Sydney and Wollongong player Anthony Petrie has agreed to terms with the club and will arrive on the Gold Coast for pre-season training within weeks.
The Coast club will be looking to Petrie (27), standing at 203cm (68), to provide strength and energy around the basket.
Full Article at NBL.com.au
